Classic Homework is the standard homework that aligns with the Daily Lesson Plans. Each unit includes recommended homework that gives students an opportunity to practice the skills being taught in class.
The homework files are available in Classic Resources in the Learning Portal.
Finding the Recommended Homework
The recommended homework is listed at the top of each section of the Lesson Plans (Sefer Guide).
For example: Homework: Letters (1st)
The Lesson Plans indicate which homework assignment is recommended for each day.
Accessing the Homework Files
The Lesson Plans tell you which homework to assign, while the actual homework files are located in Classic Resources.
To access the homework:
- Go to Classic Resources in the Learning Portal.
- Find the homework file listed in the Lesson Plans.
- Open or download the corresponding file.
You do not need to search through all of the available resources. Simply use the homework title listed in the Lesson Plans to find the appropriate assignment.

Preparing Homework for the Week
You can prepare a week’s worth of homework in advance rather than preparing it each day. Each homework page has a Homework Day section at the top with a circle for each day of the week.
When preparing the homework, mark the circle for the day the assignment should be completed.
If you are working with the PDF on your computer, you can use the coloring/annotation tool to fill in the appropriate circle.
For example, if the assignment is for Monday, fill in the M circle.
There are several ways to mark the Homework Day. You can fill in the circle digitally before printing, or mark it by hand after printing.

Classic Homework is available for Purple through Green levels.
