Adding Staff

Feel free to add as many staff members as needed to the application. Adding staff comes at no extra cost; the pricing is solely based on the number of students.

  1. Admin > Staff > Newadd new

Step 1 – Info

  1. User information
    • Start by entering the user’s email. If they already have an Alephbeis account, their details will magically appear! Otherwise, just fill in the information manually.
    • Email address is only required if you choose to provide the user with application access (see below)

  1. Application Access
    • Typically the school will allow the user to have access to the application. This will enable the user to have access to all the resources.
    • Why would a school add a teacher without giving access to the app? Sometimes a teacher is only added to assign them as a teacher for a class, without the intention of them using the application. In such cases, you can select “No” for application access.

Step 2 – Role

Teacher Role: This role grants the user the following:

  • Access to any class where they are designated as a teacher.
  • Access to all students within their assigned class.
  • Access to all available resources.

* Please note that teachers cannot add classes or students.

Admin Role: This role provides the user with the following:

  • Access to all classes and students.
  • Access to all administrative pages.
  • Ability to manage subscriptions and billing.
  • Ability to add teachers, classes, and students.

Step 3 – Create

Review the information carefully, especially the email address. If everything is correct, click “Create.”
